Jarvis Landry becomes first Dolphins player with 100 catches in a season
One week ago, Jarvis Landry set the Miami Dolphins franchise record for receptions in one season with his 91st catch of the year. On Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, Landry upped the record and made history for the Dolphins in the process.
Landry entered Week 16 with 97 receptions in 2015, needing just three to eclipse the century mark. He caught seven passes for 111 yards on Sunday and became the first Dolphins player ever to record 100 catches in a season.
Additionally, he became just the ninth player in franchise history to record at least 1,000 yards in one season.
In just two years, Landry has become a star for the Dolphins and has superstar-type potential. He's easily the most consistent player on the team and competes hard week in and week out. The sky is the limit for this young wide receiver.
