Jared Allen loses 18 pounds with pneumonia, out against Packers

Bears defensive end Jared Allen has been on the team's injury report all week with an "illness."

FOX Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer revealed more details on Allen's condition Sunday morning, saying Allen had lost 18 pounds due to pneumonia.   

Allen, who was acquired this offseason by the Bears, had a chest X-ray on game day and still wanted to play against the Packers.

Allen had started 113 consecutive games dating to 2007, when he was suspended for the first two.
