James Harrison training in 189 degree heat, in sweats
It's so hot in Scottsdale, Ariz. that Steelers linebacker James Harrison could barely touch the steering wheel while driving.
While his shirt sleeve helped ease the burn in the driver's seat, Harrison needed no such protection once he got to the practice field. Facing temperatures of 189-plus degrees on the turf and 136 degrees six feet above ground, Harrison ran a 40-yard dash in sweatpants and a hoodie -- wearing a 12-pound weight vest underneath. The man is not human.
