Jaguars still have holes to fill on final day of NFL draft

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) The Jacksonville Jaguars have plenty of holes to fill on the final day of the NFL draft.

The Jaguars chose Florida defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. in the first round Thursday and then added Alabama running back T.J. Yeldon and South Carolina guard A.J. Cann in the second and third rounds, respectively, Friday night.

That leaves receiver, free safety and linebacker as positions of need for Jacksonville.

The Jaguars have four picks remaining Saturday - one in each of the final four rounds.

Having filled most of the team's major needs, general manager Dave Caldwell has the luxury of going in just about any direction. Caldwell's philosophy is that you get starters in the first three rounds and then target special teams players, projects and backups on the final day.
