Jadeveon Clowney picks up first NFL sack amid blowout in Miami
There weren't too many bright spots for the Houston Texans in the first half of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins, but second-year linebacker Jadeveon Clowney was able to close out the second quarter on a positive note.
Clowney, the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, recorded his first NFL sack with a takedown of Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill with :50 seconds remaining in the half. The sack resulted in a 13-yard loss for the Dolphins.
The play marked the high point of a first half that left Houston trailing a 41-0 at the break.
