Jacksonville WR Robinson selected by Team Irvin for Pro Bowl
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson finds himself among a pretty impressive group of wideouts after being selected to play on Hall of Famer Michael Irvin's team for Sunday's Pro Bowl.
Robinson, who caught 80 passes for 1,400 yards and a team-record 14 touchdowns in 2015, joins a roster that includes Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons, A.J. Green of the Cincinnati Bengals and DeAndre Hopkins of the Houston Texans.
Robinson and his talented Team Irvin teammates will catch passes from a group of quarterbacks consisting of Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks, Jameis Winston of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Teddy Bridgewater of the Minnesota Vikings. It's not Blake Bortles, but it should do.
Sunday will mark Robinson's first Pro Bowl appearance. He was selected as an alternate after Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions withdrew due to injury. Robinson is Jacksonville's lone representative in the all-star game.
