Jacksonville sticking with kicker Jason Myers

Despite auditioning kickers during the bye week, the Jacksonville Jaguars are staying with Jason Myers.

Myers missed his third extra point of the season in Jacksonville's 34-31 win over the Buffalo Bills on Oct. 25, but head coach Gus Bradley told reporters Monday the team remains committed to the rookie kicker.

"We knew we were going to have some good games and some games that maybe weren’t as good, but hopefully we see continued growth, too,” Bradley said, per the team's official website. “You’ve got to have consistency as a kicker so we believe in him, we trust him and we’re going to continue with him.”

Bradley said last week's tryouts were about assessing available free agents and didn't prompt any consideration about making a change.

Myers has connected on 8 of 11 field goal attempts and made 15 of 18 extra points this season.
