J.J. Watt is reportedly expected to play in Texans' season opener vs. Bears

When the Texans kick off the season at home against the Bears on Sept. 11, they reportedly will have their best defensive player back in the lineup.

J.J. Watt underwent back surgery in July, and sat out the entire preseason. But the team activated him from the PUP list on Saturday, and a couple of days after Houston head coach Bill O'Brien said there was a "decent" chance that Watt would be ready by next Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Watt is indeed expected to return to action.

Watt, 27, led the league with 17.5 sacks last season, and has never missed a game in his five-year career.
