It was an expensive bye week for Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry
A team's bye week is a time for players to relax, recover, and recoup before the next game. For Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry, it also included writing a check.
Landry was fined $23,152 for directing abusive language towards an official in the team's Week 4 loss to the New York Jets in London. Needless to say, that's probably not something Landry wanted to deal with during his week of relaxation.
If Landry is fined for the same offense a second time, it will double to $46,304.
The infraction occurred with just 5:04 left in the fourth quarter when Landry was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct.
