It begins: DeSean Jackson to visit Redskins on Monday

The Washington Redskins are first in line to get a crack at DeSean Jackson.

The free-agent wide receiver, who was released by the Eagles on Friday, is expected to visit with the Redskins on Monday, a source has confirmed to FOX Sports' Alex Marvez.

The Redskins are among several teams who have reportedly expressed interest in acquiring Jackson, including the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills and Oakland Raiders.

The Eagles parted ways with the three-time Pro Bowler because of his alleged gang connections, but Jackson has denied those allegations.

Jackson is coming off a career season, catching 82 passes for 1,332 yards and notching nine touchdowns.
