Irsay: Colts sell final tickets to Jets game

Colts owner Jim Irsay says Saturday's playoff game with the New York Jets is sold out.

Irsay told The Associated Press in an interview that the team sold its remaining tickets Wednesday.

The Colts had about 5,000 tickets available Monday. By Tuesday, the number had dropped to about 3,500 and the rest were sold Wednesday. So Indy fans will not have to contend with a TV blackout.

Potential blackouts have not been much of an issue for Colts fans recently. On its website, the team even explains how to join the season-ticket waiting list.

But because the Colts didn't clinch their playoff spot until Sunday, and the playoff game was set for Saturday, the team had to unload the tickets in a hurry.
