Heyward-Bey listed as day-to-day with Colts

Colts receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey has returned to practice two days after he sprained his left knee at training camp.

Heyward-Bey was back on the field for Indianapolis' practice on Tuesday night.

Coach Chuck Pagano says the former first-round pick was cleared for group workout but was kept out of team drills for precautionary reasons. He says Heyward-Bey was likely to get treatment three times when the Colts take Wednesday off.

Earlier in the day, Pagano said an MRI on Heyward-Bey's knee was negative.

Safety LaRon Landry missed the Tuesday night's workout with an injured left knee. Pagano said it was not serious and described the injury as a tweak.
