Hey, MLB guys: J.J. Watt is only somewhat impressed by your box jumps
J.J. Watt has seen those MLB box jumps (Bryce Harper and Brett Lawrie being the two most popular), and, well, he's got a bit of a quibble.
Maybe more than a quibble.
"I don't know, because they advertise it the same," Watt tells our Andy Nesbitt in the video above. "... You can't take a step. You can't run into it. You have to start standing still, feet locked and just jump straight onto it. It's impressive nonetheless. Their athletic feats are impressive -- just not that impressive."
If you want impressive, watch how the Texans defensive end did it -- from a standing start, straight up, 61 inches.
