Green Bay Packers WR Jordy Nelson voted No. 18 on NFL Network's Top 100
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson is finally feeling the love he deserves.
NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2015, a yearly countdown in which players are ranked by their peers, revealed Nelson as the 18th-best player in the league, according to the Packers' official website. Last year, he was No. 83; in 2012, he was No. 80.
In 2014, Nelson set the franchise record for most receiving yards in a single season with 1,519. He also set a new career-high for receptions in a single season with 98. Thirteen of those grabs went for touchdowns, falling two shy of his career-best scoring mark (15, 2011).
In addition to Nelson, wide receiver Randall Cobb (No. 100), linebacker Julius Peppers (No. 71), running back Eddie Lacy (No. 60) and linebacker Clay Matthews (No. 51) have already been highlighted on the countdown, per Packers.com. After winning the NFL's Most Valuable Player award for the 2014 season, quarterback Aaron Rodgers remains a leading candidate for the No. 1 spot on this year's list.
