Gisele: Tom Brady had concussion last season

The wife of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says that he has had concussions during his career, including one last year.

Brady did not miss any games due to any head trauma and was not listed on any injury report with that injury. He played in each of the 12 games after missing four games due to the Deflategate suspension.

The last time the NFL investigated a team not reporting an injury was the case with Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman earlier this year. Seattle received a warning from the league for failing to report Sherman's knee injury.

Brady's wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, spoke to "CBS This Morning" and was asked if she wanted Brady to retire.

Brady turns 40 in August and has said that he wants to play until his mid-40's.

""As you know, it's not the most, like-- let's say 'unaggressive' sport. Right? Football, like, he had a concussion last year. I mean, he has concussions pretty much every-- I mean, we don't talk about-- but he does have concussions," Bündchen said. "And he's-- I don't really think it's a healthy thing for your body to go through, like-- you know, through that kind of aggression, like, all the time, that could not be healthy for you, right? … And I'm planning on having him be healthy and do a lot of fun things when we're, like, 100, I hope."

Brady capped off his 17th NFL season, by throwing for 3,554 yards with 28 touchdowns and two interceptions.

He led the Patriots to a comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI, in which he was named the game's Most Valuable Player.
