Funny Video: Watch Cowboys Cole Beasley get hit back in time

Although Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley took a devastating hit against the Chicago Bears Sunday night, a creative video has him laughing about it now.

Early in the first quarter of the Dallas Cowboys matchup against the Chicago Bears Sunday night, slot receiver Cole Beasley suffered a devastating hit that not only knocked the wind out of him, but temporarily knocked him out of the game.

Standing just 5-8 and weighing in at a mere 180 pounds, Beasley’s frame often pails in comparison to his opposing defenders. But his speed and excellent route running makes him a dangerous weapon in the Cowboys offensive arsenal.

Unfortunately, as a receiver in the NFL, Beasley has to be able to take those kinds of hits. Especially the devastating ones that can happen when you make a catch in the middle of the field. That ability to get back up afterwards is what separates Beasley, and other similar slot receivers, from the rest. And if you can even laugh about a hit like the one Cole took on Sunday, all the better.

So when the below video started circulating Twitter on Monday, even Beasley himself had to acknowledge the creativity.

Beasley took to Twitter to respond to the video and even re-tweeted it to his followers.

So far this season, Beasley has been the Cowboys most dominate receiver. In three games, he’s recorded 20 receptions for 213 yards. At this rate, Cole could record 106 catches this season. The most receptions the fifth-year slot receiver has ever recorded in a season was 52 in 2015.
