Fox won't pull plug on Tebow yet

Tim Tebow is still the Denver Broncos' starting quarterback, at least for another week.

Broncos coach John Fox said he's sticking with his embattled young signal-caller following Denver's 45-10 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

Fox made it clear, however, that Tebow needs to quickly improve as a pocket passer to remain the starter.

Tebow has completed less than 50 percent of his passes and been sacked 13 times in his two starts, including a win at Miami in which he played poorly for 55 minutes. He replaced an ineffective Kyle Orton at halftime against San Diego on Oct. 9.

Against the Lions, he had two turnovers that were turned into touchdowns and was sacked seven times. His only touchdown toss came after the Lions had a 42-point lead.
