Former Rams player London Fletcher heaps praise on current roster

London Fletcher is no stranger to playing on a great defense.

The former Rams player played four seasons in St. Louis and helped lead the team to a Super Bowl victory in 1999.

In a Q&A with FanSided's Ramblin' Fan, Fletcher answered questions regarding the current Rams team, most notably their defense, the new-look offense with Nick Foles under center and rookie Todd Gurley.

Of course, the Rams defensive front will certainly be the backbone of their defense, and Fletcher wholeheartedly agrees that unit is going to create a ton of pressure on opposing offenses.

“Obviously it starts with that front four," he said, via Ramblin' Fan. "They’ve got some guys on that defensive front. You go out and you add Nick Fairley to that mix, they’re going to get after the quarterback. (I expect a) very aggressive defense. I played for Gregg Williams, I know he likes to blitz the quarterback.”

However, he believes that the secondary is also very talented with T.J. McDonald at safety and Janoris Jenkins at cornerback. Fletcher is a big fan of Alec Ogletree, and stated "the sky is the limit for him."

It's no secret the Rams defense could challenge to be the best in the league in 2015.

And now Fletcher is another person who has given his reasons why it could happen.
