Fitzgerald catches 700th pass
Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald has become the youngest player with 700 receptions.
Fitzgerald needed two catches to reach 700 and did it quickly against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, catching a 4-yard pass from Kevin Kolb in the first quarter to hit the mark.
Fitzgerald hit 700 receptions at 29 years and 23 days old, eclipsing the mark set by Dallas tight end Jason Witten last week. Witten was 30 years, 133 days old when he caught No. 700 against Seattle.
Fitzgerald entered Sunday's game needing 318 yards to join Randy Moss as the only players in NFL history to reach 10,000 receiving yards before turning 30.
