Ezekiel Elliott Out-Jumps Dez Bryant for Jump Ball in Warmups (Video)
Ezekiel Elliott got the better of his Dallas Cowboys teammate, Dez Bryant, on this jump ball catch in pregame warmups.
Ezekiel Elliott has been the heart of the Dallas Cowboys offense in his rookie 2016 season. Yes, fellow rookie Dak Prescott has been phenomenal at quarterback after having to step in. However, the rookie running back has been a revelation. Running behind one of the best offensive lines of all-time, Zeke has been tearing up the league on a weekly basis this season.
And now he’s apparently in the business of tearing up his teammate in wide receiver Dez Bryant. Or at least he’s going out and owning him at his own game in warmups.
On Thursday night at U.S. Bank Stadium, the Cowboys were preparing for a primetime road matchup with the Minnesota Vikings. Prior to kickoff, the Dallas skill position players were goofing off in the end zone together. The name of the game was trying to come down with the catch on jump balls. That should be Bryant’s game. However, Elliott is far from your normal running back and made it his game:

Whether you’re one of the fans who claims that a toddler could get 1,000 yards behind the Cowboys O-line or not, you can’t deny the athleticism of Elliott. The rookie sensation is an absolute physical freak.
Knowing Dez Bryant, he made this jump ball contest happen about 50 more times after this so he could get his game back and redemption on the rookie. However, Zeke showed the old-head of the Cowboys skill players that he’s here to stay—in the friendliest possible way, of course.
