Ezekiel Elliott burns Bengals on 60-yard touchdown run (Video)
Dallas Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott turns on the jets and completely burns the Cincinnati Bengals defense on this 60-yard touchdown run.
When the Dallas Cowboys used their No. 4 overall draft pick on Ohio State Buckeyes running back Ezekiel Elliott, people questioned if he was worth such a high draft selection. He graded phenomenally as a pass protector and did run for a ton of yards in college.
However through five NFL weeks, Elliott is clearly the front-runner for the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year. He is leading the league in rushing. His latest touchdown run might be his best as a professional. Watch Elliott completely torch the Cincinnati Bengals defense on this 60-yard run to the house.

Already up 21-0 on the Bengals early in the third quarter, Elliott gets great blocking from his offensive line. He explodes through the Bengals defensive line and linebacking corps effortlessly. With a little extra giddy-up, Elliott gets into the end zone for the Cowboys to make it 28-0 after the made PAT.
Dallas is looking very much like one of the better teams in the NFC. The Cowboys defense is playing better and Dallas is not turning the football over on offense. Elliott and fellow rookie quarterback Dak Prescott have led a youth movement in Dallas.
Should the Cowboys hold on to beat the Bengals, they’l move to 4-1 on the year and be in first place in the NFC East. After a dreadful 4-12 2015 campaign, the Cowboys have the look of a potential NFC Playoff team in the early part of the season.
Dallas’ schedule continues to get tougher, but so does this football team. We’ll see if the Cowboys have staying power in the NFC the rest of the way. Regardless, this is a fun offense to watch do work every Sunday.
