Eagles WR Jackson suffers concussion vs. Redskins
Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has suffered a concussion against Washington, the second offensive starter to get a serious head injury against the Redskins this season. Jackson left the game after he was hit on a catch late in the third quarter. The Eagles originally said Jackson suffered head and neck injuries. Jackson has developed into Philadelphia's No. 1 wide receiver this season with 44 catches for 769 yards and six touchdowns. He caught a 35-yard TD in Philadelphia's 27-24 win on Sunday. Eagles coach Andy Reid says Jackson did not lose consciousness and would need further evaluation. The Eagles played without running back Brian Westbrook after he suffered a concussion Oct. 26 at Washington.
