Eagles TE Zach Ertz day-to-day after rib injury
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz may be listed as day-to-day with a displaced rib, coach Doug Pederson told reporters on Monday.
Ertz was hurt in the first quarter but finished the game with six passes for 58 yards. Philadelphia may use Brent Celek at tight end if Ertz misses extended time.
Ertz will continue to be assessed by team doctors before it is determined when he can rejoin the team in practice.
The Eagles won Sunday's season opener 29–10 over the Cleveland Browns. The Eagles will head to Soldier Field for next Monday's game against the Chicago Bears.
