Eagles, Jeremy Maclin agree on one-year deal

Jeremy Maclin spent last season rehabbing from a torn ACL and will have another opportunity to prove himself before cashing in on free agency.

The Eagles announced they signed the wide receiver to a one-year deal worth up to $6 million and $3.5 million guaranteed, FOX Sports 1 NFL insider Mike Garafolo reports.

"Jeremy is an ideal player for our scheme with his combination of size, speed, strength and route-running ability, in addition to his dynamic playmaking talent," Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said via ESPN.com. "We're happy to see him rehabbing well and to get him under contract for the 2014 season."

Maclin was selected in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Eagles. Since then he has appeared in 59 games and has 258 receptions for 3,453 yards and 26 touchdowns.
