Drew Brees and Peyton Manning were complete dorks in this 1998 photo

Peyton Manning's retirement from the NFL Monday put many of his peers in a nostalgic mood, and the outpouring of memories and thank yous (and other, not-so-postive messages) from No. 18's peers overflowed on Twitter and Facebook.

Drew Brees didn't get in on the Monday torrent, and that's probably a good thing, as his day-delayed Twitter post Tuesday needed to fully stand out from the pack.

That baby-faced Purdue sophomore is now the NFL's active leader in passing yards following Manning's retirement.

I, for one, am hoping that Manning never retired that polo shirt. The dream of the 90's is alive in that rayon masterpiece.
