Dorial Green-Beckham fined for making up bogus charity so he could wear Yeezy cleats

There are hypebeasts—people who will do anything to wear the latest in trending fashion—and there is Dorial Green-Beckham, the king of the hype wilderness.

According to ESPN's Tim McManus, the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver was fined by the league this week after wearing a pair of unapproved Yeezy 350 cleats on the field for last Sunday's game against the Bengals.

This, in and of itself, is nothing new. Green-Beckham isn't the first to be fined for wearing the turtledove cleats during an NFL game (that honor goes to the Houston Texans' DeAndre Hopkins, pictured below), but he is the first we know of to allegedly make up a charitable organization in the hopes the league will excuse his wearing Yeezy cleats.

Green-Beckham has been fined $6,076 for wearing the cleats, and now we face the obvious question: What initiatives would The Yeezy Foundation, if it were an actual charitable organization, be involved in?

Some ideas:

- Hypebeasting the Homeless: Clothing the less fortunate with Supply 350s and hoodies that aren't hooded.

- G.O.O.D.will: a store of hand-me-down couture and pre-Yeezus tour concert merchandise with profits benefiting local charities

- Ultralight Dreams Come True: Fulfilling wishes for children who've always dreamed of double-parking the Benz.

Real charity or not, Green-Beckham might be on to something.

Dan is on Twitter. The Yeezus Foundation is for the children.
