Dolphins' Reshad Jones is doing things no DB has since 2003
Reshad Jones is having an outstanding season for the Miami Dolphins and is stuffing stat sheets like no other safety in the league. He leads all safeties with 107 tackles, and has added four interceptions, two touchdowns and two sacks in 12 games.
Surprisingly, though, Jones isn't currently slated to be named to the Pro Bowl, despite posting ridiculous numbers displaying his versatility.
Even though he may not be popular enough with fans to make his first Pro Bowl, he's doing things that no defensive back has done since 2003. Jones is the first defensive back to have 100 tackles, two sacks and four interceptions in a season -- and he still has four games left to play.
Jones' numbers are certainly good enough to make the Pro Bowl, but it's up to fans to vote for him. Fortunately, coaches and players will have the chance to get him to Hawaii when they cast their votes on Dec. 18. That's likely the only way Jones will make it, but there's no doubt he should be recognized for the season he's having.
