Dolphins interim coach Dan Campbell interviews to keep job

MIAMI (AP) Miami Dolphins interim coach Dan Campbell has interviewed with the team but is not expected to be retained.

Campbell, who interviewed Friday, led the Dolphins to five wins in the final 12 games after Joe Philbin was fired.

Miami has interviewed five candidates to replace Campbell - former NFL coaches Mike Shanahan and Mike Smith, Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase, Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin and Bills running backs coach and assistant head coach Anthony Lynn.
