Dolphins HC Dan Campbell keeps four empty lockers between Suh, Wake
Dan Campbell is now the leader of the Miami Dolphins as he assumes his interim head coaching role. He made his presence felt early in his first practice by instituting Oklahoma drills, but he didn't stop there.
During the team's bye week, Campbell rearranged the locker room, putting players together based on their positions. Makes sense, right? Cornerbacks should be next to other corners, while the same goes for other positions.
What's trivial, though, is the fact that there are four empty lockers between Cameron Wake and Ndamukong Suh. It was that way under Joe Philbin, yet Campbell left it as-is after rearranging the rest of the locker room.
Both Wake and Suh are veterans and leaders on defense, so it's understandable to give them their space. But giving them that much space is surprising, to say the least.
It's unclear why Campbell left so much room between Wake and Suh, but he likely has a reason for doing so.
