Detroit Lions TE Eric Ebron looks faster, more comfortable in Year 2
Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron was the subject of much criticism as a rookie. After the Lions selected him 10th overall in the 2014 NFL Draft, fans were disappointed that Ebron produced less than 250 receiving yards during his first professional season.
This season will be huge for Ebron, as he continues his fight against the dreaded "draft bust" label. Recently, in a Twitter Q&A with fans, Lions senior writer Tim Twentyman described a different-looking tight end.
Looks faster to me. Much more comfortable in offense, too. Had some drops. Something to watch moving forward. https://t.co/omQ2tTJJv3

"Looks faster to me," Twentyman wrote about Ebron. "Much more comfortable in offense, too. Had some drops. Something to watch moving forward."
Dropped passes are nothing new for Ebron, who battled some jitters during early offseason workouts. If he can display surer hands moving forward, Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford will trust him with more targets.
Last season, Ebron had the ball thrown his way less than 50 times.
