Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford selling house in Atlanta

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has Georgia roots, but now he's pulling some up by putting his Atlanta home up for sale.

It's a 2,985-square-foot townhouse with four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two half-baths, according to Steve Schrader of the Detroit Free Press.  Stafford's wife, Kelly, posted a personalized message on Instagram about the house.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Stafford sold his home in Franklin, Mich., in December for $1.59 million. If the whole NFL quarterback thing doesn't pan out as planned, maybe Stafford can pursue a career in real estate.
