DeSean Jackson hints at possible return to Eagles after this season
DeSean Jackson is used to the booing by Philadelphia Eagles fans. It’s been three years since the Pro Bowl wideout has suited up for the Eagles, and Jackson has been greeted like so many other Philly opponents.
But that didn’t happen during the Washington Redskins’ win Sunday, a gesture that caught Jackson’s attention.
"Interesting, man," Jackson said, via ESPN. "First time ever."
So why the change of heart by Eagles fans? Well, Jackson will be a free agent this offseason, and the 30-year-old wideout would be a great fit in Philly.
So is there a chance for the three-time Pro Bowl wideout to rejoin the Eagles after the team surprisingly released him in the 2014 offseason?
"You never know," said Jackson, who had three catches for 102 yards and a TD against his former team Sunday. "I'm not sure. We'll see what happens. You never know how it plays out."
