Dean Spanos wants no part of proposed Chargers-Rams alliance
San Diego Chargers owner Dean Spanos refuses to tear up old alliances for convenient ones.
So, Spanos' team is sticking with its previous partnership with the Oakland Raiders, despite growing momentum for a Chargers-St. Louis Rams partnership in Los Angeles.

The Raiders might be the only team that's happy to see Spanos stay true to past promises. 30 other franchises are anxiously waiting league word on L.A. relocation; a six-member ownership committee is expected to rule on any moves this week in Houston.
It'd be much easier all all parties involved if the Chargers and Rams agreed to move together. But Spanos isn't letting the league take the easy route.
