Dan Fouts was on the call as Philip Rivers beat his Chargers record

Philip Rivers is now the Chargers' all-time touchdown pass leader.

The quarterback he surpassed -- Hall of Famer and color commentator Dan Fouts -- was on-air in the press box as it all unfolded. It made for an awesome moment in Sunday's Chargers-Bengals game.

Rivers entered the afternoon in a dead heat with Fouts. That changed in the third quarter when he hit Stevie Johnson on a 10-yard score.

Credit Fouts for such a gracious exit from the team's top spot -- and a few shifty team trainers for securing the record-breaking ball.
