Daily Dawg Tags: Cody Kessler set to start in Miami

Spanning the virtual globe to bring you the latest news about the Cleveland Browns and the NFL – these are your Daily Dawg Tags for Tuesday, Sept. 20.

The loss against the Baltimore Ravens was a tough one for Cleveland Browns fans to watch, but the Week 3 matchup against the Miami Dolphins may be even tougher after Monday’s injury news.

Josh McCown, the second starting quarterback of the season, is out with an injury, meaning rookie Cody Kessler will start this Sunday. He now becomes the third starting quarterback of the season, and the fifth starting quarterback in five games for the Browns.

No one expected 2016 to be a year filled with many wins, but losing two quarterbacks in two weeks makes it that much more difficult to win any games. Kessler could surprise us all next week, but making his debut on the road against a terrifying Dolphins defensive line will not exactly be easy.

So while we await another game with a new quarterback, let’s take a look at the news surrounding the Browns and the rest of the NFL in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
