Daily Dawg Tags: A year without a victory
Spanning the virtual globe to bring you the latest news about the Cleveland Browns and the NFL – these are your Daily Dawg Tags for Thursday, Dec. 15.
It has now been over 365 days since the Cleveland Browns last won a football game, and that includes the preseason.
It is an absurd feat for a team that has been awful since 1999, but 0-13 is making 3-13 seem like a successful season. But the Browns seem to always surprise fans, with the potential of going 0-16 the worst surprise of them all.
Johnny Manziel’s name will continue to be linked to the franchise until the team wins again, as he was quarterbacking the Browns over a year ago when the team last won. Maybe they should give him a call. (Only kidding.)
Robert Griffin III seems to be the only man left to lead this team to a win in 2016, as Hue Jackson has committed to his opening day starter for Sunday’s game in Buffalo, and presumably for the rest of the season.
Placing our collective hope in RG3 is not an easy move, but it’s all we have right now. Let’s take a look at some other news surrounding the Browns and the rest of the NFL in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
