Cowboys vs Bucs Final Injury Report: 13 Players Questionable, Out

As the Dallas Cowboys prepare to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 13 different Cowboy players are questionable or have been ruled out for the contest.

Preparing to face the 8-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday night, the 11-2 Dallas Cowboys will do so with some of their players being less than 100% healthy or injured so badly that they’ve already been ruled out completely for the upcoming contest.

Listed as questionable on Dallas’ final injury report are offensive tackle Tyron Smith (back/knee), wide receiver Dez Bryant (back), defensive end Jack Crawford (foot), safety Barry Church (forearm), long snapper Louis-Philippe Ladouceur (knee), guard Ronald Leary (back), linebacker Sean Lee (knee), safety J.J. Wilcox (thigh), defensive tackle Cedric Thornton (ankle) and cornerback Orlando Scandrick (foot/non-football related).

Out of the 10 questionable players for Dallas, only Church and Ladouceur were full participants in all three of the Cowboys practices this week. Crawford and Lee were both limited throughout those same sessions. Bryant, Leary, Smith and Wilcox all missed Wednesday’s practice but participated on a limited basis the following two days.

The Cowboys also have three players who have already been officially ruled out against the Buccaneers on Sunday night. Those injured players are defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence (back), cornerback Morris Claiborne (groin) and offensive tackle Chaz Green (back).

With Lawrence already being ruled out this weekend, the Cowboys have elected to call up former Minnesota Vikings defensive end Zach Moore from their practice squad. It’s also being reported that Green will be moved to Injured Reserve as he’ll be undergoing back surgery.
