Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck leaves game with yet another injury

For the fourth time in as many games, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Hasselbeck was forced from a game due to injury after hurting his shoulder Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

The 40-year-old Hasselebeck was hurt in the second quarter, giving way to backup Charlie Whitehurst, with the team announcing just before the half that Hasselbeck would not return.

Sunday marked the fourth straight game Hasselbeck has left after suffering injuries in recent weeks to his ribs, neck and jaw.

The 17-year-veteran has been filling in for the injured Andrew Luck, who has missed the last five games recovering from a lacerated kidney and partially torn abdominal muscle.

Running back Frank Gore scored on an 11-yard touchdown run two plays after Hasselbeck headed to the locker room.
