Colts punter McAfee trolls Brady's phone troubles

With the news that Tom Brady had his cell phone destroyed prior to meeting with NFL investigator Ted Wells, it was only amount of time before Indianapolis Colts punter/Twitter humorist Pat McAfee weighed in with his thoughts on the matter.

On Tuesday, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell denied Brady's appeal of his four-game suspension, citing in part the star quarterback's decision to dispose of the phone he had used since November of 2014 rather than turn over text messages to the league.

McAfee, a member of the Colts team that lost the AFC title game that sparked the Deflategate controversy, offered a subtle zinger in response to Tuesday's news.

Brady is set to return to the field Oct. 18, when the Patriots travel to Indianapolis to face McAfee and the Colts.
