Colts place rookie DE Anderson on inured reserve
Coming off their biggest win of the season, the Indianapolis Colts defense suffered a big loss with word rookie defensive end Henry Anderson is out for the season with a knee injury.
The Colts placed Anderson on injured reserve on Monday after the rookie was injured in Sunday's win over the Denver Broncos. NFL Media's Ian Rapaport reported Monday Anderson is believed to have torn his ACL in the victory.
Anderson started all nine games for the Colts this season, recording 31 tackles and one sack.
A 2015 third-round pick out of Stanford, Anderson was able to make an immediate contribution to the Indianapolis defense, filling in for the injured Arthur Jones, who was lost with an ankle injury in the preseason.
