Cleveland Browns: Week 4 NFL power rankings

The Cleveland Browns lost a close game, this time to the Dolphins. Will the performance in the overtime loss be reflected in the Week 4 power rankings?

The Cleveland Browns did a lot of things right on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

The big-play offense was back thanks to Terrelle Pryor. The defense forced turnovers, as cornerback Briean Boddy-Calhoun returned an interception for a touchdown and linebacker Corey Lemonier forced a fumble that gave the Browns a chance to win in regulation.

It all ended up being for naught, of course, as kicker Cody Parkey missed three field goals in what ultimately turned into a 30-24 defeat to drop the Browns to 0-3 on the season.

“We are not going to get caught up in this, ‘You are losing.’ We are not about that,” head coach Hue Jackson said on Monday. “That is all everybody talks about is the past and what has gone on here and this, that and the other. I’m not interested in talking about the past. I’m interested in creating a new future and a better future. That is what we are going to talk about, and that is what we are going to be about.”

The Browns will close out the first quarter of the season on Sunday when they face the Washington Redskins for their third road game of the young season. Before we get there, though, let’s take at where the Browns reside in the weekly power rankings.
