Chris Hogan exploits Ravens defense on 79-yard touchdown (Video)
New England Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan was wide open on this 79-yard touchdown strike from Tom Brady against the Baltimore Ravens.
The New England Patriots had given up 17 unanswered points to the Baltimore Ravens in the second half of Monday Night Football in Week 14. Baltimore had brought it within three points after a made Justin Tucker field goal to make it 23-20 Patriots.
New England finally responded on its next possession. Quarterback Tom Brady would find wide receiver Chris Hogan in the middle of the field for an easy 79-yard touchdown reception.

Hogan could not have been more wide open than he was on that huge touchdown strike for the Patriots. That score put a great deal of pressure on Joe Flacco and the Ravens’ offense with six minutes left of game clock down 10 points on the road in Foxborough.
New England could have viewed this big touchdown by Hogan as a game-clincher, but the Patriots did mess up on a few special teams plays earlier to let Baltimore back in this game.
A win over the Ravens would get the Patriots to 11-2 on the year and they would be atop the AFC standings for yet another week. They were feeling pressure from the Oakland Raiders entering Week 14, but the Raiders lost on the road to the rival Kansas City Chiefs to fall to 10-3.
Home field advantage is always important for any team. New England will definitely push for that the rest of the way. Their biggest threat is now 10-3 Kansas City in the AFC West. The Patriots aren’t going to want to play in raucous Arrowhead Stadium at any point in the 2016 AFC Playoffs.
The Ravens have brought this game within a touchdown after yet another made Tucker field goal. Can New England put away Baltimore to improve to 11-2?
