Chris Baker's message to the Redskins: Pay Kirk Cousins
On Tuesday, a report surfaced claiming that the Washington Redskins and quarterback Kirk Cousins have broken off contract negotiations.
It didn't take long for Redskins defensive end Chris Baker to get wind of it, and he took to Twitter to express his opinion on what the team should do with Cousins.
Come on @Redskins pay the man @KirkCousins8 #ILIKETHAT

Baker, who has been with the team for four seasons, enjoyed a breakout season in new defensive coordinator Joe Barry's system in 2015. He finished with a career-high 6 sacks, 53 tackles, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Baker embraced Cousins' 'you like that' catchphrase during the season -- once yelling it at reporters and another time interrupting one of Cousins' interviews with his version of the line.
While it's difficult to imagine Baker's plea making its way up the ladder, Cousins' camp is feeling great after receiving a public backing from one of the Redskins' core defensive players.
