Chiefs have drafted second-most Pro Bowlers since 2005
A painful reminder: It's been 10 years since Kansas City won a playoff game.
An even more painful reminder: In that span, the Chiefs have drafted more Pro Bowlers than all but one NFL team.
Since 2005, only the Dallas Cowboys (13) have sent more players to the annual all-star exhibition than Kansas City (11) has. That makes their playoff doughnut taste even worse.
Here's a list of those Pro Bowlers compiled by Arrowhead Pride.
Offense:
Dexter McCluster (2010), Branden Albert (2008), Jamaal Charles (2008), Dwayne Bowe (2007)
Defense:
Dontari Poe (2012), Justin Houston (2011), Eric Berry (2010), Brandon Flowers (2008), Tamba Hali (2006), Derrick Johnson (2005)
Special teams:
Dustin Colquitt (2005)
That's a talented list -- and surely enough skill to notch a playoff win or two.
The good news? Only three of those players are all ex-Chiefs. The remaining eight can do something about this postseason drought.
