Chicago Bears have reportedly locked up Kyle Long long-term

Kyle Long has been a rock on the Chicago Bears' offensive line since they took him in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Well, he's about to get paid like a rock star.

According to multiple reports, the Bears are set to give Long a four-year, $40 million extension, with $30 million of that guaranteed.

That guaranteed loot is said to be the most ever for an offensive guard, the previous high being $25.4 million to Kelichi Osemele from the Oakland Raiders.

Long played right guard for the first two years of his career, but out of necessity switched to right tackle last season. He's expected to move back to his natural position this season.

He's made the Pro Bowl in each of his three seasons.
