Chargers WRs 'exposed' Richard Sherman, who blows off media but tweets reaction
After dominating the Green Bay Packers in their season opener, Richard Sherman and the Seattle Seahawks took a step back in Week 2.
The San Diego Chargers upset the defending Super Bowl champions 30-21 on Sunday, and Sherman, whom Green Bay did not throw at once, was tested.
Philip Rivers was 4-for-4 for 56 yards on passes directed toward the All-Pro cornerback, according to NFL Media’s Gregg Rosenthal, leading some Chargers to claim after the game that they had “exposed” Sherman.
Did the Chargers really “expose” the loud-mouthed D-back? Probably not. He’s still one of the best — if not the best — in the league at his position, and it’ll take more than one not-so-dominant afternoon to change that.
If Sherman ever feels the desire to direct any Michael Crabtree-esque taunts at Eddie Royal, though, the San Diego wideout can probably say, “Hey, remember this?”
The Seahawks will look to rebound against the Denver Broncos this Sunday in a Super Bowl rematch.
