Chargers' Philip Rivers joins an elite club of 4,000-yard passers

Add San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers to the list of all-time passing quarterbacks.

He suprassed 4,000 passing yards for the seventh season on Sunday. Only three other quarterbacks have as many seasons like that to their name.

Rivers' peers are all future Hall of Famers. They are according to the Pro Football Hall of Fame's website: Peyton Manning (14), Drew Brees (9), and Tom Brady (7).

Plenty has gone wrong in America's Finest City this season. But Rivers continues to sling the ball around like very few passers can.
