Chargers OC Frank Reich interviewing for Maryland head coaching job
The man who coordinates San Diego's inconsistent offense could be in line for a promotion.
The Maryland Terrapins are actually expressing interest in second-year Chargers offensive coordinator Frank Reich, according to a report by the Baltimore Sun:
Reich quarterbacked the Terrapins from 1982-84. He's lucky they're obviously on the hunt for a coach with program ties; the Chargers' sixth-ranked offense has been greatly inflated by Philip Rivers' arm.
Reich is on the hot seat as a member of Mike McCoy's staff. And yet, despite no college coaching experience, he could land a head job in a power conference.
