Cavs invite former Browns QB Bernie Kosar to ride in championship parade

Cleveland will be in full force Wednesday to celebrate the Cavs title and the city's first professional championship in 52 years. And one of the Browns' most recognizable quarterbacks was asked to be in attendance.

Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert and CEO Len Komoroski invited former Browns QB Bernie Kosar to the Cavs' victory celebration, Kosar told ESPN.

Kosar spent his first nine years with the Browns after being taken first overall in the 1985 supplemental draft. He guided Cleveland to a 12-4 record in his second year in the league, but the Browns fell to the Broncs in the AFC title game.

The parade, which is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. ET, is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of fans.
