Carson Wentz had jersey ripped in half on first play and sort of looked like he had a cape

If you're a glass half-empty Philly fan (aren't they all?), you'll be disappointed to know that Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz was dropped on a bum-rush sack by Ryan Kerrigan of the Washington Redskins on the first play of their big, early-season NFC East matchup.

In the process, Kerrigan tore the shoulder of Wentz's jersey, leaving the shirt tattered like Bruce Banner's after he becomes The Hulk. On the half-full side, it sort of made it look like Wentz was wearing a cape though, so, you know, superhero?

Back in the day, Earl Campbell or John Riggins would have been forced to play like that all day and left the field with the jersey looking like they were Clint Eastwood in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. But in 2016, the Eagles equipment managers were - sadly - quick with a replacement. Or they had someone who can sew really quick. I don't know.
